Yasmin Shamsudin, PhD
Yasmin Shamsudin is a former research fellow at Stanford University and Assistant Professor at Uppsala University. She has a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge University, and a Teaching Certificate from Stanford University. She is an award-winning scientific author in the fields of computational biochemistry, protein engineering, molecular simulations, and free energy calculations on systems related to pain-killers, antibiotics, and potential Alzheimer’s drugs.
More than 100 students and researchers have attended her workshops and seminars in how to improve their scientific writing. Apart from scientific writing, she has taught structural biology, statistical mechanics, molecular modelling, chemistry, biophysics, and biotechnology engineering. Contact us through WhatsApp and let us know that you would like a writing coach. Specify what kind of assistance you need and send us a sample of your writing. We will then contact you to set an appointment for an online or onsite meeting (10 min) to discuss your needs. The first meeting is free. Together, we will make a plan for your coaching sessions so you can be sure to improve your writing.
I need someone to give me feedback on my presentation. Can you do it?

Specify what kind of assistance you need (feedback on slides, delivery of the presentation, or both), and send us a sample of your slides. We will then contact you to set an appointment for an online or onsite meeting (10 min) to discuss your needs. The first meeting is free. Together, we will make a plan for your coaching sessions so you can deliver your presentation with confidence.
How much does coaching cost?
The cost depends on the country and place. We charge based on the time we spend on your work. Before a 15 min meeting session we will spend some time reading through your writing before we meet with you. More information about our cost model can be provided during our free-of-charge startup meeting.
I need to write a report in English. Can you do it for me?
We don’t write or edit student papers, essays, reports, or other writing assignments. Instead, we can help you improve your English writing, but this is a process that will take some time.
